This weekend was a blast because we went up to Orlando, everyone except Chris that is. As much as I love disney I didn't spend alot of time in the parks believe it or not! Knowing how much I love Disney, that last statement is pretty unbeleiveable. Me Max and Goodnature went up on Friday afternoon/evening because all 3 of us had class in the morning... Damn Friday Classes!!! We got there and headed straight to Epcot where I had to buy a new ticket which took forever and a day! We met the rest of the family, Holli included and rode a whopping total of 1 rides. (new personal low= 3 days at disney world, total rides ridden=3 ~OUCH~) Saturday we had to go shopping in town for a new stroller because that piece of crap we had just wasn't cutting it (sorry oma). We went to Babies 'R' Us and got an awesome Jeep Liberty stroller for a decent price, and let me say when your kid gets pissed because you take him out of the stroller, you know you've picked a winner. Then we had to go buy Holli's ass some jeans because it was COLD in orlando and she being the genius she is didn't bring but one pair! aftyer all that shopping, we went back to the trailer in fort wilderness and just hung out a while before deciding to go to the magic kingdom, which was packed due to the influx of the brazillian tourists and buttloads of competing cheerleaders, so once again we retreated to the trailer. Sunday was a great day! We started the afternoon at the Trails End Buffeteria ( which wasnt as good as it usually is) nonetheless meeting up with some family that had recently moved here from Kentucky. It was the first time I met my mom's cousin Max's son Jared and his wife Ashby and their baby boy little Max. Jake was in absolute heaven because he now had a little buddy to play with. Watching them ply together on the swings, and the beach made my heart melt! they were the cutest damn things you've ever seen!

Anyways, Jared and Ashby were so nice, and I am definately hoping to meet up with them again when I'm, back in Orlando in March so we can all get together and let the kids play again. Or they are always welcome to come and visit us down in Miami, they will always have a place to stay. After they left, we decided to go to epcot and walk around the world showcase, where mom and max stopped like every 2 seconds to take a picture of another flower, or other thing. We finally got around to Japan where we ate a tasty dinner, (which later made us sick :-()). We then decided to head back to the magic kingdom where we were going to stay late because it was a resort guest night, but ended up leaving at about 11:30 because we were all exhausted. Monday we had to leave because the weekend was over (how sad)! We came home to a full house, aunt, uncle, cousin Max, and my grandmother which was nice.
Tuesday came and it was back to reality. Tommy had surgery yesterday to repair not one, not two, but three hernias (YIKES!) the doctor said one of them was larger than expected, so it had to be reinforced with wire mesh, and he would have to stay overnight. I feel bad that I didn't go see him, but I don't wanna get him sick with a cold, especially after surgery and all. I kept Jake home from school yesterday because he was still sick, and later come to find out so was I. So yesterday was friggin crazy with all the coverage of the inaguration, my goodness these people think the man is Christ or something the way they worship his entire existence. I even heard a rumor, (and obviously a rumor because it didn't happen) that dade county public school board was considering cancelling school yesterday in light of the inaguration festivities..... Believe me thats all the Dade County Public School kids need is another holiday!
So yeah, I got up at 7:30 this morning and much to my suprise it was frickin freezing outside! This is south Florida and it is not supposed to get this cold here, but oh well i guess i will just have to bundle up in the very few sweaters and maybe one jacket that I own. Anyway, Jake is sick again, I guess he's kinda prone to illness going to daycare and all, but it really sucks becuase my li'l man gave his nastastic cold to me :( . Well I am sitting in the computer courtyard at dade killing time for another hour and a half before my next class starts, which I am kinda debating whether or not to go to because I feel like crap, but i'm not sure if I wanna miss it either... student life is complicated lol. Well I've already written a damn novel, so I will stop now before it gets any longer, unless i have anything else to write about.
